Instant pot xôi mặn - no need to soak overnight
1.5 cup of sweet rice
3/4-1 cup of water
1 tsp of salt
2 tsp of oil
Put above ingredients into a metal bowl that is oven safe. Place a small rack inside of instant pot. Then add 1 cup of water. After that place the rice bowl on top of the rack.
Cook High pressure for 14 mins and natural release for 6 mins
Serve with sausage, chà bông, green onion in oil, fried onion, peanut
P/s: I also used air fryer to roast peanut and it came out perfect. Cook peanuts in the air fryer for 10 minutes. Toss and cook for an additional 10 minutes at 320F.
Instant pot and air fryer have made my life a lot easier
